You will reach the same Siti Nurbaya Bridge and the city restaurants walking down the hill through a shady and bucolic neighbourhood, 20min walk.
We can pick you up at Padang Minangkabau International Airport, 45min drive and we can drop you off at the Mentawai Fast Ferry in 10min.
Air Manis Hillside features two cosy deluxe double bed rooms with balcony sea view, two triple bed rooms with terrace garden view and a private two floors timber villa which can be either a private suite for couples or a family cottage.
There is a restaurant on site, a la carte, lounge & bar featuring an hypnotic view over the ocean; you will be served a variety of Asian and Western dishes, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy a spacious and colourful garden shadowed by coconut trees.

Great place to stay and from which to explore west Sumatra

We had a very nice stay in airmanis. Beautiful garden area and very nice rooms. It was a good place to stay, recover from our international flight and discover a bit of Padang. For which you can rent motor bikes since it is a little out of town. Staff was really nice, Rivaldi took us out to town helped us with with practicalities. There is some room for improvement on the food in the restaurant compared to the high standard of Sumatra.
There are many options for trips that are organized from airmanis. Bruno hooked us up with a great local guide for a trip with the Mentawai tribes which was definitely one of the high points of our whole trip. Very much recommended!
