Let’s leave mid-afternoon towards the upper plateau East of Padang, we will comfortably sleep there in a local homestay closed to the starting point and start hiking the following morning early morning to finally enjoy the rising sun at the summit, overlooking the Twin Lakes! This is not an easy hike but this is not a difficult one neither but it’s worth!

Let’s leave early afternoon as we will have to drive to Bukittinggi where we will enjoy dinner, accommodated in a local homestay, very early wake up call as we still have to drive to the starting point, start hiding in the dark, we will be on time for an amazing sunrise facing Mount Sago! This hike requires a bit more energy than the Mount Talang one.
