Air Manis Hillside Retreat to Kersik Tuo Village
This is an 8h drive on the Trans-Sumatran Highway passing through Bung Hatta National Forest and small cinnamon and fruit plantations, you will be accommodated at our friend’s Guests House.
Guest House to Mount Lumut camp site
After breakfast we will start trekking towards Mount Lumut altitude 2600m crossing on the way the Gunung Tujuh Lake by traditional canoe! You will then have lunch on the beach before hiking to Mount Lumut camp site, there our porter team will set the tents up.
Mount Lumut camp site to Mount Kabut
It will take 6 hours of an intense jungle trek getting around Mount Tiga Beradik to the second camp site on top of Mount Kabut, there you will enjoy one spectacular view overlooking infinity jungle, rivers snaking among lush hills and Mount Leter in front, it’s time to set the tents up.
Mount Kabut to Mount Tandai
We are now heading to Mount Tandai camp site, we will be trekking for 7 hours meeting some monkeys and Gibbons on the way, the Sumatran Tiger such as the Elephant, the Goat and the Rhino are around! carefully staying away from us… we reached Mount Tadai camp site.
Mount Tandai to Tandai Village back to Guest House
We will be ending up this amazing jungle trek by one 7hours downhill, on the way many kind of jungle flowers such the Arcide flower and the Amorpaphalus Titanum, The Giant Flower, our team is finally waiting for us and will bring you back to the guest house by car.
